The colorful creatures of Treehollow don't know how this puzzling little being, named Tamberlane, ended up in Rattleglen Forest -- nor what mysterious force brought her there. Fostered by Belfry the town klutz and Oakewood the crotchety old librarian, young Tamberlane has seemingly found a welcoming new home.

However, beloved though Tamberlane is, the whole town has questions about her strange arrival that even she struggles to answer. What is Tamberlane? Why is she here? And could she have something to do with a dark and terrible taboo the town has kept for ages?
